THE BE ALL AND END ALL
UNITED KINGDOM, 93 MIN, WORLD PREMIERE

Director: Bruce Webb
Producer: Bruce Webb,
Writer: Steve Lewis, Tony Owen
Cast: Eugene Byrne, Josh Bolt,  Connor McIntyre, Liza Tarbuck
Fifteen year olds Robbie and Ziggy think they'll be best friends forever but when Robbie collapses on
holiday and is diagnosed with a fatal heart condition, forever suddenly seems a lot shorter. Lying in
the children's ward, Robbie only has one thing on his mind: he doesn't want to die a virgin - and the
only one who can help him achieve his goal is his best friend.
Robbie pleads with Ziggy to find a way to fulfil his wish, but Ziggy has other things to contend with.
He's just discovered his mother has been lying to him and his absent father may not be as far away
as he thought.
Ziggy's flawed plan of action gets him beaten up by the outraged girls at school, followed by a failed
visit to the local massage parlour where he has to rescue Robbie from a raid by the authorities.
Frustrated in their efforts, the boys argue and fall out. Feeling alone and hard-done by, an argument
with his mother sends Ziggy off on a futile search for his father.
With nobody to turn to but each other the boys make up and renew their efforts. Success still seems
a long way off when Ziggy is robbed by a pimp and then arrested by the police for soliciting, but
with the unwitting help of Robbie's father and the kindly ward nurse Tina, Ziggy hatches a plan that may
just succeed, but not in a way either of them expects.
